The NAPSL celebrated the World
Photography Day for the third consecutive year..
It was a
great privilege to mark the World Photography Day for the third
consecutive year. The NAPSL launched a one-day seminar on 19th August 2009
at the Mahaweli Centre Auditorium. The keynote
address delivered by Prof. Chandrasiri Rajapaksha, Head, dept. of Mass
Commiunication Studies, University of Kelaniya was
followed by Mr. M. D. Mahindapala, ace cinematographer and former instructor of SLTTI,
on the subject of Visual Language and Mr. Dominic Hindle
closed the session with a lively presentation on the Art of Wedding
Photography.
